RECIPE: Salsas for Cinco de Mayo

We’re ready to celebrate Mexican culture & heritage on Cinco de Mayo! We’ve got 2 recipes to share today because who doesn’t love chips and salsa! Our first recipe is an International Apple Mango Salsa and the second is more kid-friendly with all fruit!

What You’ll Need:
2 trays of Dippin’ Stix Apples with Caramel & Greek Yogurt Chips, apples chopped
1.5 cups frozen mango, cubed (thawed)
1/4 cup onion, diced
1/4 cup cilantro, chopped
1 red bell pepper, chopped
1/4 cup zesty Italian DRESSING
Juice from 1 lime
1 Tbsp. orange juice concentrate
1/2 tsp. sea salt
1/2 tsp. black pepper
1 clove garlic, minced

1. In a small bowl, whisk together: lime juice, Italian dressing, orange juice concentrate, garlic, salt & black pepper.

2. Combine chopped apple, mango, onions, cilantro, and red pepper into a medium size bowl.

3. Pour the liquid mixture over the salsa ingredients and stir to coat.

4. Serve with tortilla chips-Olé!


What You’ll Need:
3 trays of Dippin’ Stix Sliced Apples with Yogurt, apples chopped
Juice from 1 lemon
2 kiwis
1 lb. strawberries
8 oz. raspberries
1 Tbsp. brown sugar
3 Tbsp. raspberry or strawberry preserves

1. Finely chop the apple and squeeze 2 tsp. of the fresh lemon juice over the apples, stir to coat & set aside.

2. Finely chop the strawberries & kiwis. Gently combine all ingredients.

3. Serve with Cinnamon & Sugar pita chips and the yogurt from the Dippin’ Stix tray as “sour cream” topping.
